- Multiplaza in Escazu. This is an excellent place for last minute shopping including Kenneth Cole, Nautica and many more designer brands.
- Terramall in Curridabat. If you are thinking about catching a movie this is the right place to go. Considered one of the biggest shopping malls in Central America, Terramall has the best movie theater in town: you are sitting in leather Lazboys, you are offered beer and sushi by waiters and finally you have a VIP lounge to wait for your movie to start.
- Jade Museum. Beautiful collection of Jade elements, craved originally by the Costa Rican indigenous populations.

I don’t know if you have noticed, but we are almost entering the High Season in Costa Rica! But what does high season mean? It means that a lot more people will be visiting Costa Rica. This year promises to be one with the highest visitation. So, do you need to change your plans because of this? Keep in mind that as the high season approaches, hotels, travel agents and car rentals will move to their higher rates and therefore your vacation can be a little more expensive. A good idea is to make reservations with some time in advance to make sure that you will have a spot at the hotel of your preference.
